Current Token Utility​

The SELF token (SELF) is the core utility token of the SELF ecosystem, designed for long-term sustainability and value accrual. Currently, the primary use cases are:

1. Staking Program (Currently Active)​

Lock up tokens to receive staking APR with various lock periods:

  • No lockup: 6% APR
  • 3 months: 10% APR
  • 6 months: 14% APR
  • 9 months: 18% APR
  • 12 months: 20% APR
  • 18 months: 22% APR
  • 24 months: 25% APR

2. SELF Rewards Program (Coming Q1 2026)​

Comprehensive rewards system for subscription and network building:

Core Actions (Payment-Protected):

  • Subscribe: 100 SELF tokens (one-time on first subscription)
  • Each verified invite: 100 SELF tokens (verified = when a friend subscribes using the inviter's code)

Time-Based Loyalty Rewards:

  • 30-day anniversary: 50 SELF tokens
  • 6-month milestone: 100 SELF tokens
  • 1-year loyalty: 200 SELF tokens

Network Quality Bonuses:

  • First 5 verified invites: 250 SELF bonus (on top of per-invite rewards)
  • Reach 10 verified invites: 500 SELF milestone bonus
  • Network builder (when a user hits 25 verified invites): 1,000 SELF one-off bonus

3. Future Utility (Planned)​

  • Subscription payments with token discounts
  • Primary currency within SELF ecosystem
